Flashy Nunzio

Flashy Nunzio

Flashy was adopted in February of 2017 by Rosie up on Long Island where she and her family have a large farm.  Rosie and her family are true “lifers” when it comes to their horses and they also take their time with their horses. Flashy will get some down time followed by a slow reintroduction to work, not getting into serious jumper or eventing training until she’s closer to 6 years old. We just know she’s going to be loving her new life there!

Flashy Nunzio is a coming 4 year old, 15.1 hand chestnut filly who retired through Parx Racing’s Turning for Home program in January of 2017. She raced 13 times entirely in Pennsylvania. Upon arrival at After the Races, she immediately started working to impress us with her cool personality. Flashy Nunzio is both sweet and has an amusing sense of humor that I think would light up any barn.

This confirmed the report we’d been given by the ladies at TFH, that she is one of the sweetest, most people-loving horses they’ve seen in a while. We’re all confident she’ll make a nice project for someone, amateur or professional. She was evaluated by our veterinarian soon after arrival and he couldn’t find any flaws on her. She’s sound, clean legged, and has the temperament to give her a total package appeal.
