Tube Socks, or “Morris,” is an approximately 17 hand tall chestnut gelding. He is 4, turning 5 in April. He is by Fairbanks, which shows in his size. He raced six times, but did not show the promise at the track his connections hoped for so he was able to retire sound and able to move on to a new career without trouble. He came to us by way of New Start for Horses, based out of Penn National.
Morris received a clean evaluation here at our farm and our vet is excited to see how he meets his potential. He has clean legs and should pass a PPE. We would love to see this guy go to the RRP or to a competitive home. Morris is front shod, up to date on vaccines, has a current coggins, and has no vices. He is also very easy to handle on the ground in the barn and very sweet natured. The video below was taken after the horses were in for a couple days due to bad weather so he was feeling good!
Morris is available for adoption $3,500.
