Capital Campaign Update: Carver Foundation pledges to match $10,000!

Updated: Jan 30

Dear friends and family of ATR,

Guy Carver from The Carver Foundation

We are THRILLED to announce our first matching donor: The Carver Foundation! Founded in 2021, Guy and Bridget Carver are big supporters of animal welfare among other areas of interest.

Starting today, they will be matching the next $10,000 in donations, so if you've been on the fence about donating, now is the time to make your donation and have it go twice as far!

As most of you already know, the farm ATR has been renting for over 6 years is up for sale and ATR is doing everything we can to preserve our home. The landlord currently wants $1.4 million for the 77 acre horse property. To have a reasonable mortgage on the farm, ATR needs to raise between $600,000 and $800,000.

In less than a month, After the Races has raised $262,000 because of donors like The Carver Foundation but also donors like YOU! I am overwhelmed with gratitude and encouraged that we can get there together with your continued support.

Sincerely,

Bonnie McRae
