After the Races is open to visitors once again at the Maryland Five Star, where we have a booth very close to the food vendors on Main Street Row. We were there at Fair Hill for the inaugural MD Five Star last year and are so excited to return.
Do you want to come meet our director, staff, and amazing volunteers? How about the semi-famous ATR border collies? See what our graduates are up to? Take home some sweet ATR swag? All of this and more are possible Thursday through Sunday this week at Fair Hill in Elkton, MD.
After the Races is also doing a "soft" launch of its capital campaign to raise funds for its own forever home. That's right, after 12 years of renting various farms, we are hoping to work toward purchasing our own property where we can grow and expand in our dream of seeing every Thoroughbred racehorse have a safe space to transition from racetrack to farm life and their new careers. So come, swing by, grab a cool water bottle and other goodies, and pet a dog, while learning more about our mission and how to get involved. We can't wait to meet you!
