Penguin was adopted in April of 2023. She arrived safe and sound to Aiken, SC where she joins her future junior rider Ava. They plan to see what Penguin is interested in and pursuing that discipline!

Afleet Penguin is a 3 year old, chestnut filly that came to us by way of Aftercare Charles Town. She just raced on March 4, 2023 and is retiring after showing little interest in racing. She's had 5 total starts and did not hit the board once. Thankfully that's not a problem for future careers!

Penguin is, predictably, by Afleet Alex and out of an American Chance Mare. She looks super cute and reportedly had a great evaluation with the vet at the track who said she was sound and her heart, lungs, etc all sounded good. Just not a racehorse.

Our vet confirmed that she is sound, clean, and should have no limitations. She's in fantastic shape for being right off the track and even has some dapples in the right light. She has no vices that we've seen yet and should be ready to rock and roll into her next home.
