Description
Marsha was adopted by an upper level event rider, Caroline, in Illinois that fell madly in love with her at first sight. This mare was the total package with her temperament and movement and trainability. Sadly, Caroline only got to enjoy her for a short time before an accident in the pasture left her with a badly damaged hock that was unrecoverable. Marsha was a very well-loved mare both here and in her new home and she is mourned by many.

This 2010 mare is a big girl, standing over 16 hands. She only raced 7 times as a 4 and 5 year old before retiring back to her owner’s farm. She was recently entered into the ATR program alongside her half sister. So far she’s proven sweet with her handlers and very well-mannered. She gave us no trouble pulling her mane or clipping her whiskers with our clippers.
Marsha’s vet evaluation went very well. She was found to be sound and to have clean legs with no apparent limitations. With her temperament and build we think she could do quite well in a variety of disciplines. Marsha has turned out to be an absolute dream under saddle and we think would do incredibly well in eventing or dressage.
