Army Cadet is a 4 year old, bay gelding that came to us in partnership with Beyond the Wire in Maryland. He raced 16 times fairly consistently with his last recorded workout being in mid-January. He is by Army Mule and out of a Midnight Lute mare and was born in Canada!

This handsome guy retired sore and during his intake evaluation our vet discovered he had some recent stress to his third carpal bone (though no fracture), and a very small, unexciting chip that's likely old and unrelated. She said he should get a couple months of stall rest and then re-evaluate but she expect shim to have a terrific future ahead with little or no long-term limitations.

Army Cadet is a very fit, handsome guy who is eligible for the Recover at Home program. Rads available to approved adopters for consideration. We'll update again after he's had his next evaluation in April if he isn't snatched up sooner!
