Bali was adopted in May, 2016 by Ann in Elkton, MD who is looking forward to enjoy Bali with her niece as both a pleasure horse and low level show horse. Ann has a lifetime of experience and a beautiful farm where we’re confident Bali will thrive.

Bali is a very kind, 16 hand, 6 year old gelding with lots of miles off the track. Bali has trail ridden, been a lesson horse, and knows his gaits, changes, and jumps low fences.

While Bali is potentially beginner friendly he prefers a confident rider who knows what they want to do. Even a confident beginner would do well with Bali with a trainer, but he has a bit of a lazy streak and will simply stand still if he thinks his rider doesn’t know what they’re doing!

With a hint of assertiveness, nearly any rider can have Bali going along on a loose rein, walk, trot, canter and over poles and small jumps. Bali has osslets that are old and cold, and he does have a parrot mouth. He’ll take a bit but does very well in a simple hackamore.

We’d like to see Bali find a home as a nice active pleasure horse, low level show horse, or a place in a nice lesson program.
