Bellify was adopted in August of 2022 by adopter Jack in Ohio. Jack enjoys extensive trail riding and thorough training of his horses. We know she’s going to do great in his program!

Bellify is a cute, bay, 3 year old filly who recently arrived by way of Beyond the Wire in Maryland. Bellify last raced in March and is just retiring sound and slow, which is our favorite kind! She is by Unified (by Candy Ride (ARG)) and out of a Malibu Moon mare.

Bellify has already been turned out on her owners farm after racing. Our vet happened to catch her upon arrival and said she looked very clean and sound, even barefoot! She does have two small, soft bumps on her back called granulomas. Typically these are left alone as long as they don’t interfere with a saddle, but can be removed down the road if an adopter chooses. Once we start riding her we’ll know if they bother her or not, but we do not expect them to.

This mare is sweet and quiet and should make someone a very nice horse. She can be a little strong leading but it’s something we’re working on with her. She moves very slowly leading, she just tends to take you with her if she decides a particular clump of grass looks tasty!
