Description
Big Variety was adopted in February of 2017 by Lisa in NJ who hopes to train her up in hunter/jumpers. “Biggie” went along with Little Tom who got adopted into the same barn with owner Gillian and so they find themselves in good company! Both are reported to have settled in well and we can’t wait to hear how they grow up.
Original post:
Big Variety is a 16.1+ hand, 7 year old bay mare who retired through Parx’ Turning for Home program. She joins Diego as another war horse in the program with over 60 starts! This California bred mare may have started her career on the west coast but the majority of her races were local here in Pennsylvania. She had few breaks in her training and retired at the start of 2017 after she stopped being competitive on the track.
We’re looking forward to getting to know her better as she settles in to our program and she’s all set to be evaluated by our veterinarian on Friday, February 3rd.
