Description
Billy was adopted in October of 2017 by a wonderful family in Florida who, after doing a PPE, decided to take him and get him career-saving surgery. Billy had his surgery on 11/13/17 and seemed successful, so we can’t wait to hear how he recovers and progresses. If all goes well, he’ll be starting his training with his new teenage rider, Katie, and they hope to aim for the 2018 RRP!

BillyPaysTheBills is a 6 year old, 16 hand chestnut gelding that retired through Penn National’s New Start program at the end of September, 2017 after 22 starts. He is kind, calm, and incredibly well-mannered. Recent radio graphs showed some chips in Billy’s right front fetlock, making him suitable for a trail career.
With Billy’s temperament, he would make a wonderful project for an amateur and likely a great RRP 2018 prospect. He is very straightforward and willing and has terrific ground manners. We have had a few rides on Billy, both in the ring and out on the trail, and he is quiet, quiet, quiet! With his easy-going demeanor, he will be a fun horse for anyone to bring along.
