Burnt Tree is a 6 year old, 16 hand, dark bay gelding that retired through Monmouth Park’s Second Call program. He retired with a tiny bowed tendon that has been rehabbed and he’s been a part of the Rutger’s University program working with students there for the last semester.

Under saddle, BT has proven to be a gem. He’s a fast learner, has a lovely natural headset, a quiet way about him as well as more whoa than go. Very sensitive to leg cues and already turning off seat and legs. Little looky at first in a new environment, but settles quickly and is easy to work with if his rider is experienced working with greenies.
