Buster's Girl was adopted in December of 2023 by Heather right here in Maryland. Heather is looking forward to bringing her along with the goal of doing some hunters and a lot of pleasure riding.

Buster's Girl is an unraced 3 year old, bay filly by Tu Brutus (CHI) and out of a Victory Gallop mare. She came to ATR through the Second Call program based out of Monmouth Park. Her trainer reported that she has been handled and stalled at night, just wasn't yet started under saddle when she came to us, but has been here!

This filly is put together well and seems to have a nice temperament. Our vet found her clean and sound without any expected limitations. She's a blank slate!

Buster's Girl has had a great start here. She's great for grooming and tacking up, and knows the basics of long lining and has had several rides on her so far. We've done walk/trot with her in the round pen, on and off a lunge line, and have started to install one-rein stops as well. She's a good girl that will do well in a consistent program.

Buster's Girl loves people, loves attention, and is good for the farrier, vet, etc. She has no vices and lives with other horses without issue. She was clever enough to make friends with the boss mare and reaps the benefits, even though she's not a boss mare herself!

She would be a great project for someone who enjoys working with a very smart, willing baby.
