Circle the Moon is a 4 year old, 16 hand, chestnut gelding who came to us in partnership with Aftercare Charles Town. He raced a total of 17 times with his last race in October so he came to us still quite fit and feeling good! Circle the Moon is by Malibu Moon and out of a Saint Ballado mare. This means he's a grandson of AP Indy as well! His breeding and early training were impressive enough that he once sold for $130,000 as a two year old.

Circle the Moon was understandably sore after his last race. There are known changes to his knees but both the track vet and our vet here at ATR believe he'll do well with no limitations on the flat and likely a limit of mid-level (Novice level eventing) or equivalent for jumping. This means he'll be suitable for many if not most adult amateurs out there! They just both suggest he get some time off for things to settle before he goes back to work.

Circle the Moon has no vices and has been well behaved. He is currently getting some time off and we'll update more once he is ready to do more.
