Description
Kevin got adopted by Miranda from the Hershey, PA area in April, 2016. She’s looking forward to working to bring him up with her trainer Lisa. They enjoy several disciplines and I believe will enjoy discovering where Kevin shines!

Original post:
“Kevin” is a handsome, 4 year old gelding that arrived to After the Races at the end of February. He retired through Parx’s Turning for Home program. While unraced, Kevin was in training when he fractured a sesamoid. He had surgery to repair the sesamoid and has completed all of his rehab, though they’ve decided to let him go ahead and retire into a new career rather than risk returning to the track.
Kevin has a great temperament and is in excellent weight (never misses a meal!). He’s easy to lead and handle and gets along great with other horses. He also has no vices and has been doing very well barefoot.
Kevin had his veterinary evaluation here on March 15, 2017 and looked good. Mid level competitive activity should be well within his reach. We have had a few rides in on him and he’s been nothing but straightforward, very light in the hands, and eager to please. He’s a comfortable ride as well, and has been ridden walk, trot, and canter.
