Crypto was adopted in December of 2023 by repeat-adopter Dayna in Virginia. Crypto is joining her and Walk It Out Nanny on their family's farm. She's going to get lots of downtime over the winter and spring and then they'll see what direction she wants to go in. She's already been communicating with us and expressing how wonderful Crypto has been as an addition to their farm!

Crypto Flag is a 4 year old, bay filly who arrived in September by way of Aftercare Charles Town. She raced just 4 times, with her last workout being on August 12, 2022. This handsome filly is by Fiber Sonde and out of a Cryptoclearance mare.

She retired with a bowed tendon. Our vet has seen her several times over the course of her rehab and believes she has a great prognosis for her next career. We treated the tendon with PRP to help it along and she's since completed all of her stall rest and controlled exercise. As of December, she graduated to full turnout, and she should be ready to resume light ridden exercise by spring and return to full work by summer without limitations.

Crypto has absolutely no vices. She's been very sensible to handle and work around. She gets turned out with geldings with no issues. She's a very friendly, easy going horse in the herd. We do currently have front shoes on her since our ground is hard, but she had pretty nice feet for an OTTB and could likely be transitioned back to barefoot if someone desired, at least until she goes back to work.

She's up to date on everything and ready to head home for the holidays!
