Description
Dandelion was adopted by Kelly out on the west coast in June of 2016. She is letting him enjoy some down time with her parents in Colorado before shipping him out to pursue a show jumping career with her. We hear he’s been settling in great in Colorado and can’t wait to hear how he progresses when he’s ready!

Original post:
Dandelion is an incredibly sweet, ~15.3 hand, 3 year old gelding that was born and raised at a farm down the road from ATR. This grandson of Indian Charlie proved noncompetitive at the track, and his connections thought his calling will likely be in another career.
Dandelion was evaluated by our vet on May 31st, just a couple weeks off his last race, and while he has clean legs and jogs sound, he seems a bit body sore. Our plan is to let him enjoy letting down at our farm and put him to work once he’s ready in a month or so.
If someone with commensurate experience is interested in giving him the down time at their place, he possesses a very good mind, a kind temperament, and will likely be very nice once he’s given a chance to let down.
