Fierce Competition was adopted by Katrin in Virginia. Katrin has been helping her trainer bring along all kinds of horses for years and is so excited to get one of her own. She's hoping to bring Fierce Competition along in dressage and maybe even work toward her bronze medal with him over time. We know he'll be great!

Fierce Competition is a good looking, 3 year old, bay gelding that came to us in partnership with Beyond the Wire in Maryland. He raced 6 times and never quite won a race and had issues with the loading gate which ultimately ended his career.

He is by Competitive Edge and out of an Awesome Again mare. He seems to have a good temperament and we were lucky that he saw our vet soon after arrival. She found him to be very sound, fancy, and expects him to go on to a new career without limitations. She liked him so much she asked for his "unboxing video" to share with some of her contacts!

This guy doesn't have any vices and we will post more information as we get to know him. In the meantime he's available to someone who is happy to give him some let down time (he raced pretty soon before arrival here) and who enjoys doing the restart process themselves.
