Figlia was adopted in September of 2023 by Venessa in NJ. Venessa is excited to finish Figlia's rehab for her tendon and then work toward bringing her along as her next all-around partner. She's interested in dressage, and low level eventing.

Figlia Di Guerra is a beautiful, 3 year old filly who came to us by way of Beyond the Wire in Maryland. "Figgy" is unraced but was in training under the wonderful Tim Keefe. Every horse we've had come in from Tim has come to us in good shape and well handled and Figgy is no exception.

Figlia is by Warrior's Reward and out of a Quality Road mare. Even though she didn't race, she did have timed workouts as recently as July 1st, making her eligible for the next Thoroughbred Makeover, for those interested. She's a big-bodied mare with no vices that we've observed as of yet.

Figgy retired with a very small tendon strain that is expected to heal without limitations. We are hoping she'll be ready for turnout in November. Until then we expect her recovery to be very straightforward. She'd be a great one to consider for our Recover at Home program if you're comfortable hand walking a horse on layup.
