Flor de Luna was adopted in December of 2023 by Nancy in Wisconsin. Nancy is excited to bring her along for pleasure riding and dressage.

Flor de Luna is a petite, 2 year old, bay filly that arrived by way of Beyond the Wire. She raced just two times, never hitting the board, and retired very sound. This cute filly is by Holy Boss and out of a Cape Blanco (IRE) mare.

Flor was evaluated by our vet just five days after her last race and was very sound and remarkably easy to handle. She said she should be able to go in any direction without any limitations.

Flor had her feet done and is now barefoot and turned out! She is out with another mare without issues and has no vices.

Between racing so recently and being just a little two year old, we'll probably focus on letting her be a horse, but she is absolutely available to someone who would enjoy a blank slate to bring along. She seems very sensible! We did have one ride on her just to evaluate her brain, so people could see she was rideable. She was a good girl!
