Description
Flyin It is a 16.3 hand, 4 year old, chestnut mare who arrived via Beyond the Wire in Maryland. She is by Congrats and out of a Yes It’s True mare. We’ve had a lot of Yes It’s True offspring, almost all chestnuts, big, and with good temperaments!
This quiet girl raced 10 times with her last race in September, when she cracked her pastern (P1). Luckily it was nondisplaced and expected to heal just fine with rest. After seven months of rest prior to coming to ATR, we took some new radiographs after arrival and our vet has cleared her for turnout! It is healing very well and needs some exercise to stimulate the bone to continue filling in. She looked much improved after 30 days and our vet expects after another month she’ll be good to return to work.
Flyin It is very sweet and has no vices. She’s currently barefoot but may need shoes to return to work when the time comes. We have been taking her up to the ring just to walk around in hand and over poles and she's so quiet and easy going, we know she's going to be an ammy friendly candidate for those who need it.
Her adoption fee WILL go up once she's cleared to return to work.
