Fondtastic was adopted in January of 2023 by repeat adopter Kayla. Kayla is so excited to have another horse to bring along and possibly one day move up into her lesson program. For the short term she's looking toward the 2023 RRP with the new broodmare division and we couldn't be more excited for her!

Fondtastic is a gorgeous, Kentucky-bred mare who arrived in December through Aftercare Charles Town. She retired from racing in 2018 after 8 starts and then went on to her next career as a broodmare. She's had only one foal but has been living the broodmare life for 3-4 years which mean she came to us in great flesh and with feet that have long-since transitioned to barefoot.

Fondtastic got a clean evaluation with our vet who found her very sound. At the moment her feet are pretty flat, even though she's sound. We're going to see if she can hold up to returning to work without shoes, but something to consider. She has no vices and is incredibly sweet and well-mannered.

This nice mare is eligible for the new Thoroughbred Makeover broodmare division and we think whether or not her adopter pursues that, she's going to be an awesome partner for someone. We've had one ride on her so far on one of our milder days and she is a super nice lady!
