Fortune's Fool is a big, 8 year old, bay gelding that came to us in partnership with Beyond the Wire in Maryland. He's just a hair shy of 16.2 and has a lot of presence. Fortune's Fool is by Arch and out of a Five Star Day mare. Lots of class in that pedigree! He also sold for $130,000 as a yearling!

This big guy raced 43 times and was much loved by his racing connections. While his last race was in July, his connections continued to care for him and worked toward making him a track pony. While his rider said he is very cool and chill, he didn't always enjoy being so close to the other horses t the track - which disqualifies him as a pony horse but not for most anything else!

Fortune's Fool had a great evaluation with our vet and other than needing good farrier work to help fix those typical racetrack angles, and missing a lower tooth, he had nothing concerning on exam. She thought he was great and had unlimited potential for his future!

While he's just getting turned out and let down now, he should make a really cool horse for someone. His track connections could not say enough about how good he was to ride and work with. He is currently turned out with two other geldings with no issues.
