Description
Forty was adopted by repeat-adopter Gillian in Maryland! Gillian teaches lessons but says this one is for her and not her students! We know he's going to do great with her.

Forty Dreams is a Florida-bred, 4 year old, 16.1 hand gelding who came to us by way of Aftercare Charles Town. He is a beautiful chestnut gelding that raced just 3 times, never hitting the board. He retired after his last race at the end of 2022. He is by Forty Grams and out of a Housebuster mare which means he carries Distorted Humor, Phone Trick, and Mt Livermore in his pedigree.
Forty recovered from a non-displaced slab fracture that healed well, with minimal arthritic changes. When he came to ATR, the surgeon that had been monitoring his progress recommended three months of turnout just to be conservative and let mother nature take over strengthening his knee. Of course since then he popped a splint and he's currently near the end (hopefully) of rehabbing from that.
Forty is incredibly sweet and easy to work with. He loves people and has no vices. Currently barefoot as well. We're sure once his splint finishes healing he'll be able to go in any direction.
