Description
Ginamaya was adopted in March 2024 by Danielle in Montana. Danielle is so excited to get to meet Gina and plans to do dressage and trail riding with her.
Original Post:
Ginamaya is a coming 6 year old, 15.2 hand, chestnut mare who came to us by way of New Start for Horses at Penn National. She came to us after 10 races after never breaking her maiden. Her last race was on New Years Eve so she'll get a bit of down time to be a horse before we put her back into work.
Ginamaya is by Nyquist and out of a Majestic Warrior mare. This means she has Indian Charlie, Forestry, and AP Indy all just a few generations back. She definitely seems like a classy mare.
Gina had a good evaluation with our vet. She's pretty clean and sound. She was a bit off on one fetlock jogging on concrete. We took radiographs and our vet was unconcerned. She said she likely was just still sore from racing/being turned out on hard ground. So her plan is to have 30 days to just be a horse and then we'll put her into work afterward.
She's available now for someone interested in taking a chance on her as-is. She does seem very sweet and has no vices that we've observed.
