Description
Lori adopted Harper and took her to her farm in Virginia. Harper is going to do a mixture of dressage, trails, and general riding/fun horse.
Original post:
Harper's Do is an adorable, petite, 5 year old, 15.2 hand, dark bay filly that came to us by way of Beyond the Wire in Maryland. This filly ran 26 times, only hitting the board once in her career. She came to ATR about a month after her last race. This girl is by Straight Talking who is b y Dixieland Band. We do NOT see Dixieland Band that high up in pedigrees anymore, so it's worth mentioning. What a classy horse.
Harper has been so sensible, sweet, and easy going since arrival. She's not put a hoof wrong for the farrier, vet, or any of her handlers even coming to us racing fit. She has good feet, had a clean vet evaluation, and has a temperament that seems very amateur friendly.
Harper gets turned out with geldings and mares and a mini without issue. She has no vices and is definitely one to consider if petite fillies are your thing.
