Hazard was adopted in October of 2023 by Kate and her daughter in Virginia. They're excited to spend a lot of time bringing her along as her daughter's next partner in the hunter/jumper ring. We've heard she's settled in quickly and we can't wait to follow their progress!

Hazard is gorgeous, dark bay, 3 year old filly that came to us through caring owners who donated her directly to our program. She raced just 11 times, and is reportedly retiring sound in great shape. She just raced at the end of September and is settling in very quickly to our barn.

This pretty lady is by Jump Start and out of a Lion Hearted mare. This means she carries AP Indy, Seattle Slew, Storm Cat, and other great stallions in her pedigree. We've observed no vices so far and she really is gorgeous. Our vet agreed that she's not only gorgeous but sound! She should be able to rock and roll into any discipline.

Hazard is front shod and is currently turned out with a group of mares without issue. She's available to someone experienced who doesn't mind restarting her themselves, at least until we get a chance to!
