Description
Hudson was adopted by Kimberly in October of 2022. She went home with her to Virginia where she's going to get a bit of time to grow up before moving on to learning the ropes in dressage and trail riding. We're very excited to watch her grow with Kimberly.

Hudson Canyon is a 3 year old, 16.1 hand, bay filly who arrived in September by way of Beyond the Wire in Maryland. She last raced in June of 2022 and retired after just 4 races, never breaking her maiden. She was turned out for a couple months prior to arrival at ATR and is reported to be sweet and uncomplicated.
Hudson is by Cairo Prince out of a Strong Hope mare. This means she carries Empire Maker and Holy Bull a couple generations back. She seems like she’s going to be a classy lady.
While she’s not expected to have any limitations, she unfortunately got cast in her stall right before her vet evaluation here at ATR resulting in some swollen legs. These have since resolved but our vet is suspicious she may have a bone bruise as she's still a touch off in one hind leg. Radiographs and ultrasounds are all normal, so she suggested turning her out for a month or two and just waiting for the bruise to resolve before she goes back to work.
Hudson is available for $800 to someone willing to take a chance on her as-is, but this will increase once her bruise is resolved.
