Description
Irma Girl is a 5 year old, 16.1 hand, bay mare who arrived by way of Aftercare Charles Town in West Virginia. She is by Limehouse and out of a Carson City lined mare. Very well bred mare who is very sweet as well. She retired after 33 races.
Irma has no vices and is very sweet. She is a barn favorite among staff and volunteers for her easy going, sensible attitude and endearing personality. She’s been with us for a while, first rehabbing a soft tissue injury from which she recovered without limitations. She then went to training to help her through some anxiety that she had, and training went very well! Unfortunately she popped a splint at the end of her training which she then had to rehab as well.
Irma is now back on full turnout and is ready to go back to work and we hope to restart her shortly. She was doing very well in her training prior, doing w/t/c and trail rides very bravely but is a sensitive horse who will do best with a quiet and experienced rider.
