Description
Jane was adopted in October of 2022 by Gwen in Maine. Gwen boards with another ATR adopter and is looking forward to developing a bond with Jane and then bringing her along as either an eventer or hunter prospect, depending on which way Jane wants to go. We can't wait to hear how things go for her.

Original post:
Jane Joyce is a 5 year old, approximately 15.2-15.3 hand, dark bay mare who came to us by way of Beyond the Wire in Maryland. She is unraced and came to us round and full of dapples! She is by Golden Lad (Medaglia d’Oro) and out of a Saint Ballado mare.
Jane had an easy evaluation with our vet who found her clean and sound. She reportedly had a companion goat that lived with her at the training farm but hasn’t seemed to miss it since arriving here. She’s currently turned out with two other mares and a gelding with no issues. She has no vices and is currently front shod with nice looking feet.
We plan to give her a little time to settle in and then restart her back into work. Our vet couldn’t find any reason to limit her and she’s beautiful. She’d likely do well in a competitive home, though is the type of horse who may need a little extra time and attention to bond with her handler. Once you do though, she’ll likely be yours forever, like many mares.
