Jo Amy found her name home with Katie in Pennsylvania. Katie is looking forward to having a new project horse for herself that in the future her students can ride and lesson on.

Jo Amy is a 5 year old, 16 hand, bay mare that came to us by way of New Start in Pennsylvania. Jo Amy is by Perfect Soul (IRE) who is a grandson of Secretariat. Her dam is by Wildcat Heir. This mare raced 6 times in total with her last workout in June of 2023. She comes from reputable trainer Flint Stites and has no known limits on her future!

Our vet actually evaluated "Joey" within an hour of arrival. She found her to be sound (even barefoot on concrete!), clean, and very well mannered. She said she should do great in any career.

Joey is a bit of a sensitive girl but has been relatively easy to handle and her first ride could not have gone better. She seems like a horse that will do very well in a program with a confident adult amateur or better.

She has no vices and is currently turned out with a fairly large group of geldings and mares. She's front shod and up to date on everything. If you have any interest, I'd act quickly on this one!
