Description
Last Goes First was adopted in December of 2023 by Silvia in Texas. Silvia is looking forward to bringing him along as her steady trail partner first and then see if anything else catches their fancy, like dressage or a little jumping.

Last Goes First is a big, adorable 3 yr old, bay gelding that came to us by way of Second Call in NJ. This boy currently sticks at 16.1 and looks like he's got more growing to do. Last Goes First is unraced and very well bred. He's a grandson of AP Indy and Real Quiet. He also carries Dehere and Indian Charlie in his dam lines.
Last Goes First was in work at the track as recently as early September. He had a chip in his knee which stopped him from racing, but he had surgery with the great Patty Hogan who said he should recover without any limitations! He's since been evaluated by our vet as well and cleared for full turnout and gradual return to work.
Last Goes First has no vices yet that we've observed and is a good boy. He's also a fancy mover with all the potential in the world. Should be considered by serious amateurs and professionals alike. His adoption fee will go up in December when we return him to work, if he's not adopted first.
