Watcher was adopted in December, 2016 by Jennifer in southern New Jersey. Jennifer is excited to work with him and bring him along as a pleasure horse. Some showing might even be in his future if he behaves himself. We can’t wait to hear how he grows.

“Watcher” is a very sweet, 5 year old gelding who is one BIG boy . Watcher stands at least at 16.2 and is just big all over. He is also put together well. He was lucky to retire through Monmouth Park’s Second Call program and arrived at After the Races in early September, 2016.

Watcher is very sound in spite of some wear from racing. With our vet’s blessing we’ve started him in work and he’s proving a lot of fun to work with. Watcher seems to be a bit of a go-getter and eager to please. As he’s been cleared to go through Novice level eventing, we expect he could appeal to a wide audience of riders.

Watcher is also enjoying the good life at ATR and is doing well in his new routine. He gets along well with other horses and enjoys attention. He was good for the farrier and vet too. We think he’ll be one to watch if you’re not in a hurry for your next horse. He does wear a cribbing collar indoors due to being a mild cribber, but does not have to wear one outside. No other vices, and he has good feet!
