Storm was adopted in January of 2017 by Eduardo and his daughter in Colorado. They are both field hunters and hope to compete in the 2017 Retired Racehorse Project and Kentucky with Storm and also with Pascal, another ATR graduate. Couldn’t be more excited for them!

Midatlantic Storm is a lovely gelding who came to ATR from Penn National’s New Start for Horses program. He is 3 years old and only raced once winning $0 in lifetime earnings. He is decently bred with Montbrook on one side and Stormy Atlantic (by Storm Cat) on the other side.

Storm has been a pleasure to have in the program. He’s sound, sweet, attractive, and passed his veterinary eval here with flying colors. We even have x-rays of both front fetlocks which are clean. Our plan is to put him into work soon if the footing lets up and see what he can do! This horse is worth a look for both professionals and amateurs alike. So far we’ve only had a chance to lunge him, but he seems like a willing worker, just green as would be expected.

Storm has no vices and is a very kind gelding who would love to bond with his one special person. If you’re that person, you should also consider taking him to the 2017 RRP as he is eligible!
