Special Kaylee is a petite, 15 hand, coming-4 year old, bay filly that came to After the Races in partnership with Aftercare Charles Town. This sweet filly is by Gandhi and is a granddaughter of both AP Indy and Proud Citizen. She's got some cool breeding looking back in her pedigree!

Kaylee was bred and owned by the same people until retirement. She retired sound and this was confirmed by our veterinarian who loved her! She's barefoot, sound, and has very clean legs. She said she can do anything she wants!

We've enjoyed getting to know Kaylee. She's very sweet and enjoys a good grooming session, though she's still working on having a bit more patience when being led around. She gets along great with her gelding friends in turnout.

Kaylee is ready to go back to work any day but we're working with her in hand right now as we get to know her. She wants potential adopters to know she's looking for someone who appreciates the small things in life, and doesn't like boring! Kaylee has shown no negative behavior but she is energetic and spunky. She'll do best in a home that's going to give her structure, and we know she'll be a lot of fun for the right person!
